On March 24, India's lockdown hit a year. There were only about 525 cases at that time. and the lockdown came into effect.
And now it's a year of being in lockdown. The country is now facing a second outbreak of the covid.
COVID-19 cases are starting to rise again in India. And lockdowns are now expected in some states. There is a ban on bars, pubs, shopping centers, or theatres. Online shopping is much safer this time.
The last few days have been dire. And we have fears of more sanctions and a national-level lockdown.
The govt has stated that there will not be another lockdown. And the goal is now on the 'test-track-treat'. And not on closing down trade.
MHA issued a new set of rules for April. States will increase the rate of RT-PCR tests. And also follow the "test-track-treat".
The MHA's plan went into force on April 1 and will remain in effect until April 30. The goal is to decrease the number of active cases.
All operations beyond the Covid-19 containment areas are also allowed by the MHA. 'Lockdown is a chance.'
Lockdown could be a choice at the district/sub-district and city/ward level. and this will avoid the spread of the deadly virus
